School’s out for summer!

Well, not quite…I still have one final to go, but it’s extremely easy. So easy I could do it half drunk and sleep deprived.

But I have been working on the Brainix operating system lately, and have been working really hard on writing a virtual file system from scratch. I’m quite happy to announce that Brainix has advanced quite a ways since I mentioned it last, although it’s still not mature enough to run a shell, and I’m quite proud to have participated in its recent development.

So now I can continue to rant about irrelevant matters with my free time and brag about the progress of Brainix ;) Just giving an update on why I haven’t posted a thing in ages.

I’m just posting this to inform you that just because no one has commented here it doesn’t mean that your blog isn’t being read. It just means that we don’t have anything to say.

If you want to see this in action, watch what happens when you post some geeky question and ask people to express their opinions. Here’s a sample:

“Arrows on top of letters to signify vectors. Is this a good way for students to remember that vectors have direction and magnitude and to distinguish them from scalars? Or is this sloppy notation that is hard to read and best left at the high school level? Do you secretly use arrows on your vectors in your private notes and then remove them from your papers”
